The Legislative Program main objective is to improve the lives of our Veterans, Service Members and their families through advocacy. Each year the VFW issues the "Priority Goals" that they fight for in our Nation's Capital. The Priority Goals are updated in January of each year and are available through the VFW website or MALTA. Each week the VFW puts out an email "VFW Action Corps Weekly" and when needed puts out a call to action for legislation they are trying to get passed. You can sign up for the Action Corps on the VFW website as well to keep up to date on important legislation for our Veterans, our Military and their families.
